BLACK LIBERATION DREAM TEAM

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”-African Proverb

Our Black Liberation Dream Team collection uplifts the power of the collective. If we are to succeed in our journey towards Black Liberation, we must unite disparate forces, connecting with people from different backgrounds and skill sets, all working towards the same goal.

 We used this framework to assemble our very own Black Liberation Dream Team. A team comprising icons from various time periods, who we felt could use their diverse skills and talents to take on the daunting task of uplifting, empowering, and liberating Black folks.

Though we know this team is a fantasy, our hope is that this concept of going farther together will encourage you to find collaborators and create your own coalitions for Black liberation.

Over time we have grown accustomed to being galvanized by charismatic leadership but it is now time to move forward as a collective. Bringing together all our God-given talents and skills to use toward the fight for liberation. As the late great Ella Baker said “Strong people don’t need strong leaders.” Let's go further together.
